A community flute ensemble for all ages and levels.

The CGFA Flute Choir welcome flute lovers from all levels to join, audition required for seating arrangement, annual membership fee of RM120 applies.

Audition requirement: 2 contrasting piece that you recently played & a sight reading piece to be given on that day

Minimum grade requirement: at least able to play music from grade 2 level and above. You must have your own instrument to join.
We only have vacancy depending on how many existing member leaving the team, choosing the most committed and well played candidates from those who joined the audition.
Membership fee will be used to cover operating expenses of the flute choir, such as: score printing & purchasing, membership t-shirt, food & drinks for performers & stage crews during concert week, props & tools needed during performance etc.

Our Flute Choir is a community flute ensemble in Malaysia, under the umbrella of CG Flute Academy founded by Sze Gee CHEW. The ensemble hosting audition annually welcoming flutists from all levels and ages. Our vision is to provide a group playing platform to all flute lovers to experience the fun of playing as a team. Most of the music performed were arranged by our resident music arranger Casmond CHEW according to the theme of concert programme respectively. Allowing the ensemble to include flutists from all different backgrounds, by designing different difficulty level of music score based on section. The CGFA Flute Choir is currently the largest community flute ensemble in Malaysia.
