Full Time Administrator
We are seeking a dedicated administrator to manage the daily operations and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of The Flute Store Malaysia and CG Flute Academy. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure a smooth and professional experience for students, parents, and clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:
– A background with basic musical knowledge is mandatory
– A background or familiarity with flute is an advantage, but not mandatory
– Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
– Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
– With good learning and working attitude
– Responsible and responsive to instructions given
– Able to commit at least more than a year

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
– Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming students, parents, clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
– Provide accurate information and guidance regarding sales, products, academy programs and policies.
– Handle payment transactions efficiently, including issuing invoices and receipts.
– Foster a positive and professional atmosphere in the front office and studio.
2. Administrative Operations:
– Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the work place by anticipating needs and taking proactive action.
– Maintain and organise records.
– Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and promptly.
– Oversee student registrations, class schedules and teacher’s attendance.
– Prepare invoices and send timely reminders for payments.
– Ensure the studio remains clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
– Input and manage data in internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
– Perform general administrative tasks to support staff and ensure smooth operations.
– Assist in the planning and execution of projects and events by The Flute Store Malaysia and CG Flute Academy.
3. Musical Typing and Social Media Maintenance
– Perform basic musical typing and video editing tasks.
– Update the company’s social media with appropriate content and language.
– Prepare and upload music scores when necessary.
4. Sales
– Attend clients and answer to their inquiries regarding products and services.
– Follow up inquiries and sales flow.
– Handle appointments and walk-in clients.
– Clean up and sanitise the instrument after client test play session.
– Pack and ship parcels to client.
– Inventory managements.
5. Support
– Assist our director in tasks she assigned.
– Supporting our teacher’s reasonable request.

Expected Salary:
From RM2,200.00 depending on qualifications and experience.

Salary increment based on work performance

Working hour:
Tuesday-Saturday, 9.30am-6.30pm
Inclusive of one-hour lunch time and 30 minutes tea-break time

Internship position
We are delighted to help music major students who looking for a place to complete your internship requirements. You can work remotely from your home and only come to the studio when needed.

Requirements:
– Music major (diploma or degree), prioritise candidate who knows how to play the flute
– With good learning and working attitude
– Responsible and responsive to instructions given
– Understand basic musical typing and video editing skills
– Minimum internship period: one month

Teaching position
We are looking for passionate teachers to join the team and bring positive influences to the local flute community, audition and interview required. Pedagogy training will be given to successful candidates to support your career development.

Requirement
– Diploma or Degree in Music Performance, flute major
– At least passed one level of ABRSM/Trinity Flute Grade 8 or Diplomas exam
– At least passed ABRSM grade 5 theory exam
– With good learning and working attitude
– Responsible and responsive to instructions given
– Able to speak and write fluently in Mandarin and English
– Able to commit at least 2 years with students
